Steven Bridges, Sr.

Minister

Steven Bridges, Sr., is the minister at Griffin Drive Church of Christ, Vallejo, California. He received a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Holy Names University in December 2006, and Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Patton University in May 2003. Additionally, Steven received his Pastoral Counseling Certificate from Holy Names in December 2006 and is currently a California licensed Family and Marriage Therapist.

Steven has been married to his lovely wife, Cynthia for 53 years. They have six adult children, 13 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Steven is an avid reader and in the Biblical tradition of Barnabas, known as the Son of Encouragement, he too is blessed with the gift of Encouraging others.

Eric Henry, Sr.

Minister

Eric Henry, a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, answered the call to preach in 2015. Officially accepting the position of Minister of the Griffin Drive Church of Christ in February of 2020, he labors alongside Bro. Steven Bridges. Among Eric's many talents, and perhaps his greatest, is his ability to connect with and inspire others. In addition to preaching, he also teaches Wednesday evening Bible class where his thirst for studying the Bible is contagious.

Eric is the loving husband of Bandia and devoted father of three, a son, Eric Jr., and identical twin daughters, Lena and Geletha (Gigi). He holds the position of Contract Manager at a utility company where he has worked for more than twenty years. Prior to the utility company, Eric spent 7 years as a Group Home Administrator, caring for those with severe physical and mental impairments. Eric enjoys family vacations, spicy food, Lakers basketball, 49er football, and wholeheartedly sharing God's word and His love.
